To me my mom is perfect
And I know that perfection isn’t real
But in my eyes my mom is everything
So don’t blame me for how I feel
To me my mom is perfect
Her eyes always shine so bright.
But now she wants to lose weight
And I just ask myself âwhy’?
My mom is a great woman
She’s everything i want to be
She’s carrying, funny and sweet
She means the world to me
She lives her life to the fullest
Fun job, great friends and a family
To me my mom is perfect
So it just doesn’t get to me
I love to hug my mother
Because she isn’t size zero
She’s my big teddybear
To me she’s just my hero
To me my mom is perfect
But she wants to lose weight
The fact that she can’t see her beauty
Just makes me afraid
So one day I asked my mom
Why can’t you love your size?
She hugged me and asked me back
How do I look in your eyes?
I told her there is nothing to change
And that there’s nothing she has to hide
She laughed and whispered slowly
Maybe you are right…
To me my mom is perfect
And I know that perfection isn’t real
But in my eyes my mom is everything
So don’t blame me for how I feel
To me my mom is perfect
And now it’s time for her to see
That size doesn’t matter
She will always be perfect to me
